On this January 30st, ICS Canada welcomed Mr. Carlos G. Torres, Global Head of Physical Operations, KPI Bridge Oil, based in Middelfart, Denmark to speak on the seminar on implementation of IMO 2020 bunker regime.
Mr. Carlos G. Torres managed the marine fuels supply and sales team covering the Middle East, East Africa and Asia Pacific regions, as well as the role of marine manager for the Americas covering marine fuels supply and sales in the region.
In the presentation he talked about challenges, the bunker industry is going through to meet 2020 regime requirements. Special attention was paid to the pricing mechanism for the LSFO and correlation with crude oil market. Speaker also discussed short term outlook of the LSO and VLSFO global supply, factors that are driving this market in different countries and regions. Presentation was followed by the extended Q&A session.
