For the last five years the ICS Canada in partnership with Shipping Federation of Canada participated CargoM Career Fair in Montreal.
This year’s event was a bit smaller than previous years with about 35 exhibitors and about 400 job seekers.
Shipping-related organisations attending included Canada Steamship Lines, Groupe Desgagnes, MSC, Oceanex, the Port of Montreal, the Maritime Employers Association(MEA) and Comité Sectoriel de Main-D’œuvre de l’industrie Maritime (CSMOIM). A number of educational institutions also participated, like the Hautes Etudes Commercial (HEC), the business school of the University of Montreal who offer degrees in supply chain management, College Andre Laurendeau who offer diplomas in transportation & logistics as well as CITT, a Canadian logistics association.
