With a mission to connect, support, and elevate the maritime profession in Central Canada, this branch plays a vital role in expanding the ICS’s reach and impact across the country. Based in Montreal, with a growing network of members in Toronto and beyond, the East Coast Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers supports the region’s maritime professionals through education, events, and community engagement.
The branch plays a key role in supporting students preparing for ICS exams, offering guidance and resources to help them succeed. In addition to its strong educational focus, the East Coast Branch contributes to the local maritime industry by hosting in-person Lunch and Learn events, which feature guest speakers and foster discussion on current industry topics.
By connecting professionals and promoting continuous learning, the East Coast Branch helps strengthen the maritime community throughout East Coast of Canada.
